No, SCMS Cochin School of Business does not accept direct admissions for any of its courses. The institute has a set admission criteria that students must fulfil in order to secure a seat. For PGDM admission, students need to appear and clear national-level management exams, such as KMAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ CMAT, etc. Additionally, the institute also conducts a GDPI round for shortlisting the candidates. FPM admission at SCMS Cochin requires students to have a relevant PG degree and present an abstract of the reserach paper. Hence, students can not join the institute through direct admissions.

My sister studied at Globsyn Business School (GBS) and shared a positive experience. Over the past two decades, GBS has established itself as India's only 'Corporate B-School.' It offers AICTE-approved two-year full-time programs, including the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Analytics (PGDM-BA). Additionally, GBS provides a two-year full-time MBA (Global) programme in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science & Technology (MUST), a member of AIU and established in partnership with MIT, USA. So, yes Globsyn is one of the best business schools in Kolkata.
