If you are doing CA then you should complete it within 4 years. Not more than that to achieve everything on time otherwise your life will be tough if you started getting flunked.
Start working with studies instantly. Work is a very important part of CA, without working, you can't get the true meaning of CA.

So if somebody likes more practical then go with CMA and otherwise go with CA. CMA is more practical then CA.
Foundation- CA has less syllabus with more details but in CMA have more syllabus but details are less.
Intermediate Level- CA have some tough subjects in inter level, but so as CMA consists 8 subjects with one more subject in comparison of CA have 7 subjects. CMA wide syllabus again here in comparison of CA but

Actually, the course content plays a very huge role in deciding the best match with law. CA course although can be a good choice. However, the context of the syllabus is quite different from that of law. The similarity between, both CS and LL.B. is that both of them are law focused courses. The CS curriculum attempts to make you study corporate laws in depth, whereas an LL.B. course will make you study a number of laws ranging from civil to criminal.
If we now consider the fact, that you want to primarily be a CA, and then pursue a degree (CS or LL.B) that is law

CA with a Bachelors degree like B. com(Honours).
CS is also a common choice.
CA followed by an MBA is also gaining popularity these days.
You can also do LLB along with CA.
CMA, CPA, CFA, etc. are few other options that basically depend upon your own areas of interests.

It is because of the vastness of the Chartered Accountancy course, where it takes around one full year into the articleship just to understand the processes before you try your hands into the process. After understanding the processes, next two years are spent in mastering the art of auditing and gaining perfection into it.
