I guess the commerce books of class 11th or 12th will help you for basic concepts.

CA is an Indian concept. Australia and Canada does not have CA. It is either CPA or CFA for which you usually need an Indian post graduate and some work experience in the known organization.

Hello Kush! Only if you have the ability and belief to crack both their exams, I'll advise you to go ahead. Not to discourage you, but studying CA and then MBA is not everyone's cup of tea. I don't have much idea about CA but you can pursue MBA in Finance stream(as you've mentioned). Also I think there's no need to do for CA, if you pursue MBA from top B-schools like JBIMS, IIM Kolkata, etc.

If you have the confidence that your hard work and luck will take you to some place after 5 years, and if you have good hold over accountancy and mathematics, then go ahead with CA (also if you are ready to give up all and everything for it).
Otherwise, go ahead with MBA, but then you'll have to first do graduation, also you should have a good understanding of statistics and business Still you have a good scope in it as you may have after CA.
Try to know your strengths and weaknesses, and you'll be able to judge better.

To give a simple overview, a student should go for CA if the student wants to make his/her mark in accounting initially. Because later at the last module of the exam, you will have so many subjects which will allow you to choose any domain of finance you like. But first you need to be exceptionallygood in accounting to clear the first and second module.
