Dear Vinutha,
CA isn't about practical or theoretical subjects it's a mix of accountancy, Law, Tax, Cost, Finance, Strategy , which is the reason of it's reputation.
so it doesn't mean that you are strong in practicals then you won't be able to manage with theory but yes a strong part will give you bit edge, but overall you can have a go with.

Dear Vinutha,
Recommendation is to go for CA instead of ICWA, Reason being scope and opportunities what CA's have in comparison to CWA.
Secondly CA have more reputation than a ICWA though both are professional courses but a CA can Perform work of a cost accountant but a cost accountant can't perform work of a CA.

Dear Sarthak,
First of all Maths isn't compulsory to pursue CA, Secondly taking maths or eco is matter of your interest because non of these subjects will be there in CA, except in CPT , But that is of basic level so not to worry about.
So whether to take maths or eco it's upto you this decision of your neither going to give you any edge in CA nor any disadvantage.
good luck

Dear Shreyans,
If we compare both these courses on scales you mentioned then yes now a days CS got bit advantage in results and placements.
Result of CA is uncertain but yes if you prepare in CS then there are higher chances of getting positive results.
Talking about scope, Right after commencement of new companies act scope for cs has been increased by certain regulations of the Act. and with that decreasing value of CA because of few cases harming to its reputation.
