There are 3 stages
1)CPT
2)IPCC
3)FINAL
CPT covers the following 4 papers
1)FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING
2)MERCANTILE LAW
3)GENERAL ECONOMICS
4)QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE-which comprise of maths and statistics
You haven't mentioned anything about your stream.If you are a commerce student you won't find any kind of difficulty because the syllabus that is covered is what you have already studied in your class 11 and 12.But if you are a science student also there is no problem.Lot of science students are appearing for CPT nowadays.

You can definitely pursue CA.
Chartered Accountancy can be pursued after Class 10+2 or graduation. To become a CA, you need to enroll with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) the only statutory body in India, which conducts the CA course, holds examinations and prescribes qualifications for membership. Head quartered in New Delhi, the Institute has five regional offices and 97 branch offices in the country, apart from 12 Chapters outside India. To start practice, a CA has to clear all the exams and become an Associate Member of the Council.

firstly you have to register yourself ICAI so that you can be eligible for CPT which is held twice in a year i.e. june and december. then after it IPCC nd FINAL.
