No, it is not tough for a Science passed student. CA course is equally tough for everyone. You do not need any prior knowledge of any concepts of commerce so it does not matter whether your stream in 12th was Arts or Science or Commerce.

You should focus on 12th right now. You will have ample time to study for CA after you pass 12th.

No, there is not a single college in India that provides CA course. CA is not a graduation course like B.Com and it cannot be done through a college. You have to register in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to get admission. It is a distance learning course.

I would suggest you choose a college where attendance is not mandatory because you will be spending most of your time in CA coaching classes. So try to look for colleges which don't care about your attendance.

Hi Diksha, It depends on your college, so I would recommend choosing a college where attendance is not mandatory. Or you can do B.Com from IGNOU.

Yes you can. Your 12th stream does not matter. You have to register in ICAI CA Institute) for admission and you can pursue the course.

There is no guarantee, but your chances will be high. As of now the average pay for fresher CA's who have passed with multiple attempts is Rs. 8Lac p. a. and for 1st attempt pass CA's it is around 10-15 lac p. a. and for rankers it ranges from 15 lacs to 35 lacs p. a. Even if you start on the lower side you can easily earn upto 10-15 lacs p. a. in around 3-5 years of time.

You should consider a few things when choosing a career. Those things are : 1. Interest in the subject, 2. Duration of the course, 3. Chances of you passing that course, 4. Earning potential. In the three courses that you have mentioned, earning potential is very high in all of these. Chances of passing are the highest in Doctor, lower and in CA and the lowest in IAS. Duration of Doctor and CA is 5+ years whereas IAS may take even longer. Interest in subject is upto you.
