Yes, Calcutta University has started releasing the course-wise merit list at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The University of Calcutta has released the first, second, third and fourth merit list for admission to the Home Science courses. As per the fourth provisonal merit list the highest cutoff score was 82.8, followed by 82.6. The lowest cutoff score for Calcutta University Food & Nutrition course stood at 72.4 for the General category students. Meanwhile, Calcutta University first merit list for MSc (M.A.) / BTech / MSc (Ag.) courses under the Faculty of Science, Technology, Agriculture and Home Science is expected to be out on Sep 22.  

Calcutta University WBJEE cut off 2023 was concluded after the release of the Mop-Up Seat Allotment Result for admission to the BTech course. As per the Calcutta University cut off 2023, the last round closing rank for the BTech course ranged between 1207 and 27788 for the General All India category students. Analysing the last round cutoff data, BTech in Computer Science and Technology turned out to be the most competitive specialisation at Kolkata University. Considering the WBJEE cutoff 2023, candidates seeking admisison to Calcutta University BTech programme must secure a rank between 753 and 27788 (for General category). 

The authorities commenced the TNEA 2023 counselling online mode at the official website. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process of TNEA 2023 as per the schedule released by the authorities. The authorities group the shortlisted candidates according to their ranks. Candidates can refer to the following steps to understand the detailed procedure of counselling of TNEA 2023.Step 1 - Release of eligible candidates list - The authorities will release the list of all the eligible candidates on the official website. Only those candidates who will be listed are eligible to appear in the TNEA 2023 counselling process.Step 2 - Payment of fee - Next, all the eligible candidates will be required to pay the TNEA counselling fee 2023 in an online mode. Upon successful login, candidates will have to choose their preferred choices of institutes and courses.Step 4 - Locking of choices - The next step is locking of the selected choices. Candidates will have to finally lock the entered choices on the third day after the commencement of the round. No modification will be allowed after locking. Once the choices are locked, a PDF document containing the list of choices locked by the candidates will be sent to their registered email with the generated integrity code. The integrity code is to prevent any further modification to the applicant’s choice list that has been submitted. If a candidate fails to lock his/her choices within the stipulated time, the system will automatically lock the choices.Step 5 - Tentative allotment - The system allots the tentative seats to the candidates as per the choices filled by them. Candidates will be able to check the tentative TNEA seat allotment by logging into their accounts.Step 6 - Submission of allotment offer- After the seat allotment of TNEA 2023, the candidates will have the option to confirm, decline or reject the offer.If a candidate is allotted a seat, he/she has the following options-Accept the offer.Confirm the offer with upward movement.The upward movement here means that the candidate wishes to change his allotted seat and participate in further rounds of counselling.Decline the offer and opt for upward movement.Quit TNEA Counselling.
