Most of the time cut off for Calcutta University Students is 64% in 1st list and it may go upto 62.5 at last. If someone is having below 62 they can appear for written entrance test which will allow the students with low percentage to grab another 50% reserved seats via Entrance.

Admission to Ph.D. will be based on the Research Entrance Test conducted by the University departments, followed by an Interview. NET/ SET qualified candidates will be exempted from the written entrance exam. Application forms can be downloaded online from the official website of Calcutta University (caluniv. AC. In) with an application fee of INR 100 Ph.D. paid through SBI challan.

Hey Dhrubajyoti, the cutoff information for M.com at Calcutta University is around -
For General Category - 45%
For OBC Category - 45%
For SC Category - 40%
For ST Category - 40%
So just go for it and have bright future ahead.

Hi Simon Saha !A candidate taking up B.Com. Honours Course in a subject must have obtained: i. A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

You need to have more than 60% in your boards exam to be eligible. As far as the cutoff is corncerned it keeps on fluctuating each year.
