You need to have more than 60% in your boards exam to be eligible. As far as the cutoff is corncerned it keeps on fluctuating each year.

A candidate will be selected to take up B.Sc food and nutrition course only if he/she has passed the chemistry in previous qualifying exams and further need to take it as one of the elective subjects respectively
Student needs to score minimum 50% of the exam

IGNOU offers distance learning.
It has two admission cycles for all the programs. 1) January cycle 2) July Cycle.
for July 2020 cycle admission last date is Sep 30, 2020. ie today. So hurry up!!!!

As we talk about Calcutta University, the university has 16 Halls & Hostels for boys and girls under the University of Calcutta providing accommodation to about 1550 students studying in the University Colleges of Arts, Commerce, Science, Technology and Law and also the Undergraduate students of the colleges as well as men research scholars/fellows of the University. Jadavpur University Presidency University, Calcutta University, Scottish Church College, Bethune College, Lady Brabourne College, Maulana Azad College are a few that provide hostels at a nominal charge.

Hello dear student, The University of Calcutta is the oldest major public research university in India, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Considered one of best state research university all over India and every year CU topped among India's best universities. The Calcutta University releases merit list every year for admission process. Firstly you have to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria that is 50% marks in qualifying exam and 55%(45% for SC/ST) marks in BSc or qualifying degree.
Then cutoff will depend on factors like number of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.

Lady Brabourne College does not take any entrance exam for admission in M.Sc. Zoology for non-Calcutta University graduates. To get admission for M.Sc. Zoology, you are only required to have B.Sc. Degree from recognised university/college.
