Various factors are involved while choosing between Amrita School of Biotechnology and the University  of Calicut for a BSc course. It can be subjective from one person to another. Few factors includes 1. Academic Reputation  2. Accreditation 3. Infrastructure and its facilities 4. Curriculum and 5. Placement and Alumni Network. Getting into contact with the current students and faculty members would help you much better sense at each of the institutions.

Yes, Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers better placement opportunities than University of Calicut . If, talk about the placement report of last 3 years then the placement of Amrita School of Biotechnologies are something higher than University of Calicut . The University Of Calicut offers starting salary package of 2.0 Lakhs and the highest salary package is 4.6 Lakhs. It may vary every according to the placement records and on other hand Amrita School of Biotechnologies offers 2.0 Lakhs as starting salary package and the highest is upto 10 Lakhs P/A. It may vary every year.
