According to the official website of California State University Northridge, Indian students are not required to qualify SAT for admission to the university. However, international freshman applicants who wish to study at the university on an F-1 (student) visa or J-1 (exchange) visa, who are applying to one of the bachelor's degree programs, and who have not completed any post-secondary coursework at a college or university are required to meet the eligibility requirements. The university does not require the SAT/ACT for admission, but if the students have taken the tests, they can send their scores to assist with placement in math and writing.
