A study gap of no more than 5 years. Some exceptions are given for students with good grades and a six-year gap. Admission into a three-year programme may only result in six failures. If an applicant has an overall average of 65%, they can accept eight failures.

Cambrian College currently has 3 intakes – May, January and September. Cambrian College provides degree, diploma, and certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. International students can apply using a single application platform, ontariocolleges.ca. All Cambrian College applications are done through ontariocolleges.ca. Cambrian College will respond and confirm your application within 48 hours. Following an application, the offer letter is normally issued within 4 weeks.  Cambrian College offers a variety of degree, Diploma and certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. International students can apply through a common application portal, i.e.,  ontariocolleges.ca. All applications to Cambrian College are processed through ontariocolleges.ca. International students can apply for residence at Cambrian College by filling out the online application. Residence applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until residence is full. Any applications received after Apr 15, 2024 will be placed on a wait-list on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is not necessary to be accepted to Cambrian at the time of your application, However, you must  have a student number. International students are required to pay a non-refundable CAD 100 application fee when they apply for residence at Cambrian College.

Cambrian College offers a variety of scholarships to international students. Cambrian College assists more than 1000 students annually through various awards program. A diverse range of awards are available to assist students with paying for college. International students are advised to apply before deadline.

The co-op work permit will list the employer as Cambrian College and will allow you to work for any authorized co-op work term authorized by your programme of study. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada have announced the temporary lifting of the 20-hour-per-week cap on the number of hours that eligible post-secondary students are allowed to work off campus while classes are in session. However, International students who have off-campus work authorization on their study permit will not be restricted by the 20-hour-per-week rule.

You must first register on the Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) website in order to submit an application to Cambrian College. After making an account, you can fill out the online application and add Cambrian College to your list of options. Make sure you include all the necessary documentation, including your transcripts, any applicable proof of your English language proficiency, and any letters of recommendation (if your programme requires them).
