Why would you want to spend a huge amount of money to go to Canada to pursue just a PG Diploma? If you really want to go for your higher studies to Canada just go for your MS. Why? Firstly, this is a proper Master Degree and not any Diploma, Secondly anywhere around the world Master Degree in a Technical field has a way bigger value than a Diploma. A study abroad consultant will always suggest you go for PG Diploma because most of the colleges are settled up with Indian consultants. Do your research and ping me if you are still in doubts.

Hi Hari Prasad, The main differences are in terms of admission requirements, selectivity and expense. Colleges are comparatively way cheaper than universities and have slightly easier admission rules. For example, for admission to a Master's degree course, the colleges may accept a three-year degree which universities do not accept in contrary. Admission standards are higher in university and it prefers students with more than 70% in most cases but for colleges, it is not the case, though the colleges are also very competitive, you can apply if you have a decent score, but above 55%. Hi Krishnakant,
You have to first find out colleges have January intake, it's not a very common one. Not every course or college will have a January intake. Check the deadlines and apply accordingly. It is important to follow the timelines mentioned on the college websites.

Hi Prabh Singh,
The query you are asking sounds good from a 15 year old confused teenager. It is not quite clear as to what you are asking. If you are asking, then this is absolutely your choice. We are not aware of your plans and what you want to do in future. Know your own career goals and decide what you want. Nobody else can tell you what you should do and if you should doing it or not, not at least at this stage. Regarding the university, it is a good one and has many innovative programs. As far as your academics are concerned, it is a good score but many universities want more than 75%. Check your desired university website for th

Hi Ravi,
You may check colleges under SPP, however, very limited time is available since July end is the last phase of the deadlines. You may still get firsthand information from the colleges. On the other hand you may prepare for the next fall intake and submit your applications timely by this year end.
