Please do not go to Canada with 5.5 in any module. If at all there arises a case of visa rejection, you might invite a loss of about 1 Lacs. It's better to re attempts
IELTS exam and get a better score card. Also get some small work experience. Nothing major since you just passed class 12th. Also, you have a gap of more than 1 year. Show proof to close that gap.

An international student may bring his or her dependents to Canada by one of two routes. A spouse or common-law partner who plans to work while in Canada has the option to apply for his or her Open Work Permit before entering the country, upon arrival to Canada, or after entering the country. Rules keep changing, so please follow up with an education consultant and immigration consultant.

No one comes under sds, you should check weather the college is a listed DLI, then there's no other issue.

Medical would obviously be the better choice, just keep in mind that you cannot go to Canada with 10th marks. I would suggest B.Sc. Nursing.

Yes, there are scholarship programs on offer for international students. But each scholarship has their own eligibility criteria. So depending on where you study and other factors scholarship may vary.

Changing fields when it comes to Canada is a risky affair. You face a high chance of visa rejection. It's better you stick to your own fields.

Yes, the study gap would be a major problem. But, it must be okay, if you did something productive during the gap, eg work. You can give it a try. But, I would suggest you not to keep your hopes up. There's a high chance for visa rejection if you cannot provide proof of activities done during your gap.

Hi, that is dependent on what your profile is like and what course you are looking to make an application for.

Both countries have a set of merits and demerits. It is generally easier to get PR in Canada, but the weather is a bit too harsh. U. S green card is not an easy thing to acquire, but you have better opportunities and reasonably better weather conditions.
