International students can work in Canada after their gradaution. The Post Graduate Work Permit in Canada or PGWP for Canada allows international students to get a valid work permit and gain work experience in Canada. However, the length of the work permit depends on the duration of the study programme completed, from 8 months to 3 years. To get a post-study work permit, international students need to meet minimum eligibility laid down by the Government of Canada.
