 Canada offers a number of job opportunities for computer Science engineers. Canada is hub for tech companies and home to some of the largest and the biggest tech companies in the world. However, post study international students are required to apply for work permit to seek job and stay further in Canada. A work permit under the PGWP Canada is generally issued for the length of the study program. The maximum length of PGWP Canada is 3 years. In order to apply for PGWP Canada, students need to pay CAD 255 as an application fee. Moreover, if they wish to restore their student status and apply for PGWP, they need to pay CAD 605.

International students going to Canada to pursue higher education in Canada are required to have a study visa permit. The immigration authority of Canada issues study permit to eligible Indian students. Canada student visa fees is CAD 150. Canada study visa fees in Indian Rupees is 9,317 as per the current exchange rate in July 2023. Students from India applying for a study  permit for Canada need the following documents; Valid Passport, Proof of Acceptance by DLI, Proof of Funds, Passport Size Photographs, and Immigration Medical Examination etc.

The cost of living in Canada will vary from individual to individual and it will depend on your lifestyle as well. However, comparatively Canada is cheaper than its peers such as USA and UK. A student needs around C$30,000 and C$50,000 per annum depending on the course/city to cover his tuition.
