Students wishing to pursue studies in Canada should have a valid study permit or letter of introduction that reflects that they are approved for a study permit and possess enough funding to support themselves. Students should also be holding a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA). According to various unofficial sources, the University of Regina acceptance rate is 80% - 90%. The acceptance rate justifies that it is relatively easier to take admission here. So, as long as an applicant is meeting the admission criteria, then chances of getting into the university are high. It is important to disclose any previous immigration or visa-related issues, including a ban from another country. The UK Home Office considers individual applications on their own merits and follows their own immigration policies and guidelines.
