Ofcourse. Some colleges accept backlogs in Canada. As you got 6.5 in IELTS you can search on the website. But you do have a chance in Canadian colleges.

GRE and IELTS are both requirements for any form of study you wish to pursue along with the additional work experience that is often required. If you believe you're falling short on the experience front, my best suggestion to you would be to enroll yourself in a form of study which would then allow you to scale up to a PR and a job opportunity in Canada. One of the interesting one's that I recently encountered is this Study & Work programme where you basically get to do a course while earning part-time and once you finish the course, you can work full time for about 6 months.

Canada has a vast number of jobs available for willing prospects. With the strict US work setting, more and more people are driven to Canada every year due to the opportunities it provides. However, in case of a proper work opportunity, you would still require IELTS as the English Proficiency test. With the recent changes, the score barrier has gone up and certain people find it difficult to achieve the same. Taking a gap year is a pretty normal practice worldwide although it's looked down upon in Asia. Regardless, the English proficiency tests will also consider the best scores you submit as you official scores and giving multiple attempts in IELTS and GRE shows dedication that you strive to improve your score.
