It issues the cutoff for UPSC CAPF in different categories for individual candidates. The cutoff ranges will be declared on the basis of a written exam, PST (Physical Standards Test), and MST (Medical Standards Test). Different categories comprise General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. The number of cutoff points for individual categories will change with variations in the difficult level of the exam or the availability of vacancies in the seats. The cutoff marks of each stage, namely the written exam, physical tests, and final selection, are separately disclosed by UPSC after its declaration.

The UPSC CAPF exam cutoff varies for each stage and category. Here are the key details:UPSC CAPF Written Exam CutoffThe written exam consists of Paper 1 (objective) and Paper 2 (descriptive).The minimum qualifying marks in Paper 2 are 25% for General/OBC/SC/ST candidates and 10% for Ex-Servicemen.The overall qualifying cutoff for Paper 1 + Paper 2 combined (out of 450 marks) is 25% for all categories.UPSC CAPF Final CutoffThe final cutoff is calculated out of 600 marks, combining the written exam and interview/personality test.

No, the UPSC CAPF Cutoff is not released with the result. The Union Public Service Commission will release the UPSC CAPF Cutoff after the declaration of final result. The Commission will release the separate cutoff for the prelims and interview stage. The Commission releases the category-wise cutoff.The Commission is expected to release the UPSC CAPF 2024 (written) result in August but the UPSC CAPF cutoff will be released online after the declaration of final result next year.
