The Union Public Service Commission conduct the CAPF (AC) exam 2024 every year to recruit the candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Although in IITs, there are 2 seats reserved for defence personnel but for NITs, GFTIs, IIITs there is no quota for CAPF personnel. There are in total 10,006 seats across all IITs and Jee Advanced qualified total number of students were 26,456 amongst which CAPF sets were quite less but yes reserved.

UPSC CAPF Exam is conducted every year to recruit candidates in various armed forces across the country. The candidates who are selected through this exam, join the forces as Assistant Commandant (AC). UPSC CAPF will release soon the notification to join the exam. The exam consists of 3 phases: Phase -I: Written-test. Phase- II: Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standard Test.

CAPF exam conducted by UPSC for post of assistance commandant in central armed police force CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB and CISF exams are conducted by UPSC. It is also conducting civil service exam but ACPF AC is different.
Selection process of CAPFAC2 papers are there. Paper 1:- GS paper (objective type), 125 questions, total 250 marks.
Paper 2 English (descriptive, consists of essay, notice, precise, arguments and grammar), total 200 marks. You have to score min. 50 marks in paper 2.
