Carleton University Eligibility

If a candidate wishes to secure an admission in Carleton University graduate courses, then a four-year's bachelor's degree equivalent is required and the minimum overall Carleton University GPA requirement is 6.50 - 7.99. Moreover, applicants must submit the following documents:Academic transcripts (English translation);English proficiency exam scores;Statement of intent (SOP);CV/Resume;Aptitude test scores;Letter of Recommendation (LOR); andAdditional documents (as applicable).

Computer Science and Software Engineering have quite a bit of overlap at the University of Ottawa. There are benefits to both fields, but I would say that at every university, you have the opportunity to become an excellent software developer. It is 90% of your own efforts, and up to 10% related to the university that you go to.
