You can go for any humanities stream course, as science students have the advantage to go for any course.
But it's better that you opt for that course which you have studied a little bit in 12th.
So you may go for BCA/B.Tech but in my opinion, opt for any computer tech programming related course as it has a good scope in future.

Hi,
To apply for a job of cartoonist the employees prefer a person who has a Bachelor degree in fine arts with subjects like drawings painting etc. also for better prospects you can pursue Master's degree also. To be a cartoonist you must be creative, you should be good at sketching and drawing. You should be able to express news or stories though your cartoons well what work you will do depend on what kind of cartoonist you want to become. Cartoonists' works are published in newspaper, magazines, novels, etc.

There is no particular set of qualities to become a cartoonist. If you are creative and can deliver what your client wants to can easily start your career as a cartoonist. You must have excellent drawing skills.
Be as imaginative as you can. Add a sense of humor to your creation. Be socially updated. You must be aware of what is trending. That makes your cartoon fresh and maintains your demands in the market. You must have good communication skills and that should reflect in your creation. A Bachelor's degree in fine arts or even business administration could be done as there are no formal education requirements to be a cartoonist.
