No, you don't need to. CAT is difficult as compared to MAT. If you have chosen to prepare for CAT please focus on it as it covers the preparation for MAT exam as well. Moreover, where through CAT aspirants are eligible for admissions to 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and more than 1000 B-Schools in India, on the other hand, more than 600 Management Institutes offer admissions on basis of MAT scores. You can browse through many blogs written about preparation of CAT, hence i wont be sharing on the details of how to prepare. However based on my personal experience i would suggest that you should take up a cat course in a reputed institute and prepare for at-least 6 months or more.
