CAT is an exam for post-graduation. And, JEE you give for under graduation. After JEE, you will be an engineer and after CAT, you will be a manager. So, you can be a manager after becoming an engineer. What will make more money depends on your potential. MBA will definitely give a hike in a job you will be doing after engineering. So, my advice will be, you first concentrate on JEE to become an engineer, then decide, if you want to go for MBA or M.Tech.

Hi Neha,
Quants is a subject that would ask you for your patience and hard work. The only and the best way to prepare is to practice as much as you can. Try solving past papers and also give number of online mock test. Google out shortcuts for certain chapters. I would say along with hard work you would need to work smartly. Try figuring out which chapters has the highest weightage and focus more on the same and practice more sums. Practicing more and more would not only help you increase your speed but also would help you to boost your confidence along with it. Try to get in one of the IIM so that you could have a wonderful future. Basically CAT exam is one of the hardest try to prepare thouroghly. Based on your score if you have got better score you can apply for the best colleges in India.

Hello,
Academic score are as of now not required in FMS. So, you can target getting into FMS. For IIMs, it will be difficult in the ones like B or I giving very high weight to past academics. With 98+ percentile, you can get into 2nd generation IIMs.

You can apply for CAT this year. Its application forms will be out in the month of August-September. You need to score a good percentile in CAT to get eligible for top B-Schools of India. CAT 2018 will be conducted in the last week of November and the first week of December. Apart from this, you can apply for other MBA entrance exams like IIFT NMAT, CMAT XAT and SNAP.
