Yes, it is very well possible to score good in CAT. Suggest practice more and more of reading comprehensions, quantitative ability and verbal ability questions. Try to take as many tests as possible. Generally graduation cut off in B-schools is 50%(IIM-A has 50%).

It is an unfair practice, but is prevalent practice in Indian B-schools. The students have no choice but to apply to maximize their chances of getting admission in high ranking B-school.
