Dear Vaishnavi,
Best of your entrance score is considered in CAP rounds for admission, suppose if you have given 2-3 entrance exams then best of those will be considered.
so in your case best of CAT or MAH-CET will be considered score of one exam won't make any impact on other.
good luck

It depends on your selection of college. For some of colleges want 50 or 60 %ile and IIM'S Ask for 99%ile so it's vary college to college. but you should maintain minimum 50%ile.

Different B-Schools have different percentile cutoffs. To get into an IIM, you will need to score at least 99 percentile. Also you will need to clear the individual subject cutoff which typically is around 95 percentile. For others like FMS you will need 98.5 percentile. For new IIMs these could be 95-96 percentile. I would suggest you contact alums/students of the school you are targeting to get an accurate answer.

IIMs usually do not disclose the marks, however they do disclose percentile for each candidates. To get into an IIM, you will need to score at least 99 percentile. Also you will need to clear the individual subject cutoff which typically is around 95 percentile.

It depends. There are a lot of factors considered. However looking at your academic record, it seems that you might be severely disadvantaged because of low GPA. To compensate for that you will need to score a little more in CAT. Typically 99.5 percentile is enough to get anyone a call from IIM (with similar academic background). However to be safe I would suggest that you target 99.7 percentile.
