Raju,
For CAT all you need to is clear the cut as the academic profile/record will come into the picture later once you qualify the cut off which over the last two years has been around 90 percentile

Dear Rahul sharma. to get best institutions under CAT you shuld score 95% above percentile. even IIFM got good track record .therefore you should have 95% percntile to secure admission.

Candidates are short listed in ratio of 1:8 or 1:10. Wieghtage of CAT and GD&PI is 50:50 for Nirma.

sir without CAT you have very less options to get in good college, I think you first prepare for cat , it help you to get admission in good college and also get good job in future with good pay package, so don't be in hurry to go MBA colleges, prepare for cat in then make a worth of money of your parents. best of luck

Hello samul,
Your CAT score wont play a role in your placements. It will only guarantee you a seat in FMS. If you have good amount of knowledge about your area of specialization and if you perform well in the placement process you will stand a chance to get good placement.
