Yes, the University of Hyderabad MBA Admission is based on a valid score in the CAT exam. However, the university also conducts an entrance exam for admission to its MBA specialisations. Candidates seeking admission must at least have completed a three-year Bachelor's degree with first class (or its equivalent with 60% aggregate) in any discipline recognised by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE on or before June of the year of admission. Those completing their final examinations by June can also apply. Additionally, candidates must also have a valid score in the CAT exam conducted by the Iims.

The written exam of NIFT has two papers - the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). B. Des and M. Des candidates need to appear in both CAT and GAT, while candidates applying for other courses only need to take the GAT. NIFT CAT Syllabus

Yes you can, you don't need to decide the college first just get enrolled yourself in and start the preparation from as soon as possible. If you are looking for IIM you'll be provided according to the CAT score.

No, CAT is not compulsory for Kurukshetra University MBA Admission. KUK also offers admission to the MBA course on the basis of candidates' performance in the Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by KUK. The University also accepts CAT/ MAT/State/University level test scores for KUK MBA Admission 2023. Kurukshetra University MBA Admission for the academic year 2023 is yet to begin.

Instead of wasting time in CAT CMAT XAT etc. Why not trying for some private universities like LPU etc. LPU is not only accepting the national level test scores but also conducting own entrance exam for MBA Admission. The eligibility criteria is given below
Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 55 percentage aggregate marks in Bachelor degree in any discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview.

The candidates usually get CSE easily in VIT Bhopal. You are able to attend the counselling for VIT Bhopal until your rank is below 125000. Candidates below 50K rank usually get CSE at VIT Bhopal. I hope this helps. Let me know if you want me to help you with anything else.
