It ultimately depends on the specific institution and their admission requirements. Some institutions may require a valid CAT/MAT score for admission into their post-graduate diploma in supply chain management program, while others may have alternative criteria for admission.
You should check the admission requirements of the institution you are interested in applying to and see if they have any alternative criteria or exemptions for entrance exams. Additionally, you can consider reaching out to the admissions office for further information and clarification on the admission process.

The admission process for SP Jain Institute of Management and Research's (SPJIMR) PGDM programme considers various factors such as academic performance, CAT scores, work experience, and other criteria specific to the institute. While your son's CAT percentile of 85 is decent, it is not the only factor considered during the admission process. SPJIMR is known for its rigorous academic curriculum and focus on holistic development, and the institute looks for candidates with a strong academic background, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in society. Your son's expected percentage of 60 in his final year of

Congratulations on scoring 99.77 percentile in CAT. With this score and your defense quota, you have a good chance of getting admission in DTU (Delhi Technological University) for CSE or ECE. However, admission to a particular branch at DTU also depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and your academic record. Since you have mentioned that you belong to the defense quota and outside Delhi region, the admission criteria for you might be different from the general category candidates. DTU has reserved a certain percentage of seats for candidates from the defense category. I suggest you

The worthiness of CAT percentile depends on the MBA college you want to take admission into. For a Tier 1 B-School, 95 + percentile is a good score, whereas for a Tier 2 institute, 80-90 percentile is a good score. Admission cut offs of the Iims are always 95 percentile and above.
