On the university's official website, there is mention of acceptance of CAT and MAT scores. Additionally, for MBA admissions the GKU Bathinda accepts the scores of other state and national management entrance examinations. Admission to most MBA colleges and B-schools is based on an entrance exam, such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT, etc. In the same way, the university might consider the scores of these entrance examinations. For more detailed information, it is suggested that candidates directly raise their queries through the university admissions department.

Jaipuria Institute of Management Indore accepts CAT scores for admission to PGDM programme. However, the institute also accepts other entrance exams for admission to PGDM programmes. These are CMAT, XAT, MAT and GMAT. Candidates need to qualify for any one of the accepted entrance exam to secure admission to PGDM course at JIM Indore.

On November 5, 2024, the CAT 2024 admit card download began. Using their login information, candidates who had registered for the CAT 2024 exam could download their CAT hall ticket. Candidates could download the CAT 2024 admit card up until the day of the test, but it was best to download it in advance. Additionally, candidates needed to keep their 2024 CAT admit card safe until the admissions process was complete.

DY Patil Institute of Management considers CAT score for admission to MBA programme. Besides, candidates can also apply for MBA admission with a valid score in MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT or MAH MBA CET. Candidates selected based on their entrance exam scores have to also pass WAT and personal interaction round for admission.

Considering the last three years' MDI Gurgaon CAT cutoffs, candidates seeking admission must aim to score more than the 97 percentile in the CAT exam. The CAT exam score is not required for admission to the MBA programme at the Delhi School of Business (DSB). Candidates can secure a seat by submitting a valid score from any of the following exams i.e. XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, NMAT, or an equivalent test. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a CAT score, candidates with scores from any of the other recognised entrance exams are also eligible for admission to the MBA course.

Candidates willing to enrol in the MBA programme at IIM Ahmedabad must take the CAT exam and score a minimum percentile of 90. In addition to CAT scores, the admissions process also includes a Writing Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI). Applicants are required to meet both the overall CAT cutoff percentile and the sectional cutoffs. The Institute does not publicly disclose the CAT cutoffs.
