It totally depends upon institute to institute, some colleges' criteria is to consider marks or credit score while shortlisted whereas some just consider CAT score. Hence your M.Sc. The score will be considered.

As per my opinion, I don't think you face any kind of problem during MBA/PGDM Placement. Being an alumnus I didn't face any Problem regarding this and some of my friends did MBA from LPU they also got the opportunity to work with well-known company. I advise you if you are a student of LPU you do not need to worry about anything. LPU is the best university ever I seen which provide the each and every facility in organised manner.
