No, the selection for further admission rounds in VIT Chennai MBA admissions can be done through NMAT/GMAT/XAT score if a candidate hasn’t applied for CAT. If a candidate hasn’t applied for CAT 2024 they can go through the other entrance exams for MBA at VIT Chennai.Candidates can appear for CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XAT and can use scores of any of these exams to apply for admission into the VIT Chennai MBA. It is important to note that the entrance exam is only the first step in the admission process of VIT Chennai.

Students seeking to get admission in the MBA programme offered at the institute must appear for the NMAT exam conducted by GMAC. To qualify for IIM Visakhapatnam admission to the MBA programme, CAT is mandatory. So getting into IIM Visakhapatnam without CAT is not possible. Overall candidates need to acquire a valid CAT score in order to apply to PGP or MBA programme.several IIMs offer MBA programs that do not require the CAT exam. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli, also known as IIM Trichy admission criteria for 2024-26 PGP batch includes selection through IIM CAP 2024. According to the IIM Trichy admission criteria 2024, the minimum CAT percentile required for interview call is 94 for General category students.Considering the previous year cutoff trends, the estimated CAT 2023 cut off percentiles for IIM Trichy will range between 94 and 95 for the General category students.
