Hi Anita, CAT is the entrance exam for admission into the Iims and several others B-schools in the country. It is important to give CAT but apart from CAT there are other entrance exam for admission into prestigious B-schools are
XAT ( XLRI, XIMB, IMT and many more), NMAT NMIMS, Mumbai), SNAP (Symboisis colleges), MAT (IILM University, Gururgam, Apeejay Business School and many more) CMAT (JBIMS, Great Lakes, and many more) etc. For more information about the colleges and entrance exam details, please go through the websites. Hi Muskaan, NO CAT exam, Not a problem at all. First of all if we talk about the eligibility then you should have minimum 55% in graduation plus interview. Second The MBA from LPU have so much worth. If you facing such a problem so you fill 4 years in your application form because it's of 4 years degree course not 4.5, and whenever you give your interview, so at that time you'll tell them for this. I hope you get your desired answer.

Hi Anita, while both courses aim to train you in management and administration, their approach differs significantly. However, if you wish to pursue higher education abroad, a PGDM is considered to be a Diploma, while a university-affiliated MBA is counted as a degree, giving you a better standing. Well this year in the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. The eligibility criteria of this programme is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline)or equivalent, and Interview. Hi Aditi. CAT 2020 will be conducted across 156 cities similar to that of CAT 2019. While registering for the exam, candidates must ensure that they choose the CAT exam centres 2020 which is relatively close to their house in order to avoid any inconvenience. CAT will be conducted in computer-based mode on November 29. Good luck!
