The students who are deserving will be given scholarships on the basis of need and merit. If you happened to be a brilliant student academically and have scored very good marks in your class 12th or have good internships experience after your school, then definitely the university will consider you for a scholarship. There are multiple scholarships that are offered. Some are need-based scholarships and some are academic and overall performance-based. All of this does give some relaxation but it doesn't make the course itself free. You can get an education loan easily if you get into IIM Ahmedabad from any bank and given the 100% placement record, you'll get a high paying job by which you can repay it back. Rest of the information will be provided once you join the campus.

The registration process of CAT exam generally starts in the month of August (First week) and the exam will be held in the month of November (Last week). Because you are in the 1st year of B.Com (Hons.), you have enough time for its preparation. Buy some CAT preparation books available on various e-commerce websites. However, if you want to join the CAT coaching center then you can join these centers during the final year of degree, means in 2022.

JKLU is conducting number of interesting webinars. These are conducted by the different departments of the university. Webinars are a very good way to learn and know what is current situation in the academic area and career opportunities. You should definitely attend the webinars while sitting at home. There are two different series of webinars that is run by JKLU. One is about delivering more information about what JKLU has to offer and the career prospects in the different fields. The second series is called "signature series" these are conducted by the eminent personalities in the industrial sector and IT sector.

Yes, it is a very good idea to apply online for admissions. Considering the current situation, it would take a very long time for 12th board exams to be conducted and then waiting for the results. So, I would advise you to apply for college and choose the courses that you like. Fill the online application form by visiting the university website- www.jklu.edu.in
