The IISWBM is one of the oldest MBA colleges in India, and for that, you have to score overall 75-80 percentile in CAT to get admission here. The minimum CAT score required for admission to IISWBM MBA 2023 was 50.35 percentile. For admission to IISWBM MBA 2022 also the CAT cutoff was 50.35. Therefore for MBA 2024 admission, it can be predicted that the CAT cutoff would be somewhere around 50-52 percentile.  IISWBM sets a minimum CAT percentile requirement for shortlisting candidates for the GD-PI round, and the actual cutoff may vary from year to year depending on various factors. A percentile of 75 may or may not meet the cutoff criteria, but having a strong academic record and relevant work experience can improve your chances of selection.

The difference between the qualifying CAT cut-off and the final CAT cut-off lies in their purpose and the stage of the selection process they are associated with:Qualifying CAT Cut-off:This is the minimum percentile score required to be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.It acts as a screening tool at the initial stage of shortlisting candidates for further evaluation by individual institutes.The qualifying cut-off can vary depending on the institute and the specific MBA programme you're applying to.Final CAT Cut-off:This is the actual cut-off percentile score used by institutes for final selection.It determines who gets admitted to a particular MBA program.Final cut-offs are generally not announced publicly.

The CAT syllabus 2023 is divided into three sections: Quantitative Aptitude (QA): This section covers topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and mensuration. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): This section covers topics such as verbal reasoning, reading comprehension, and grammar. The CAT exam doesn't have a set format; it covers a broad range of topics like reading comprehension, logical reasoning, data interpretation, and quantitative aptitude. IIM Kozhikode does not prescribe the syllabus of EMAT. Candidates can know the important topics that are covered under EMAT syllabus by downloading the sample papers. The syllabus is divided across three sections viz., Quantitative Aptitude and Numerical Ability, Reasoning and General Intelligence, and General Management.  Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to Executive Post-Graduate Program (EPGP) in Management at its Kochi campus. It is a national-level exam that admits 100 meritorious students each year. EMAT/CAT/GMAT score is considered only as a preliminary screening process for selection of the applicants. EMAT syllabus outlines the section-wise important topics that candidates need to cover.

There will be several stages to the NIFT 2024 exam. For example, in order to be admitted to the B. Des programme, an applicant must first pass the written GAT and CAT tests. If they are selected for further consideration, they must then take a Situation Test. Candidates for M.Des who make the short list must attend a personal interview rather than the situation test. Be aware that each test component will be assigned a weight when preparing the NIFT 2024 final result. For the B. Des programme, the final score will be determined by allocating 50% of the weight to the CAT, 30% to the GAT, and 20% to the Situation Test. The CAT is worth 40% of the total weight for the M.Des programme, while the GAT and personal interview are worth 30% each.
