There is no major difference between BHM and B.Sc, both are Bachelor's degrees and both will help you out in getting a professional job. You can opt for BHM or B.Sc. The college will send you for a training of 6 months which is called IT (industrial training) in B.Sc, but in BHM, you are sent for VT and IT (vocational and industrial training).

No, you would not be able to pursue B.Sc. in Catering Science and Hotel Management. Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board to enroll in the above course.
