It is good that you started thinking about your future. Now for IAS, you need to have graduate degree to write exam, so what I suggest you is to take any degree course, which is not hard as any technical course and start preparing by reading newspaper, current affairs, GK, History, Geology Etc. and take some help of tuition and write exam. You have 5 years from now start utilizing it.

If you are failing in commerce, then probably you don't have an interest in the same. Try taking humanities. That way you will be able to complete your schooling first. And remember one thing to do anything in life a good amount of labour is always and always required. There is no shortcut to hard work and thus success. You should be knowing what you actually want to do in your life. First identify this and then proceed ahead. If not academics then probably entrepreneurship might sit you.

Hi,
All the IIMs usually follow a two-step selection process. First, short-listing on the basis of CAT score and then WAT and PI rounds for the short-listed students.
1. Common Admission Test (CAT)
2. Written Ability Test (What) and Personal Interview (PI)
Most of the Iims are giving higher preferences to PI and CAT scores, academic qualifications are also important but are having less weightage. Further, the work experience is another deciding factor. So, in my opinion, you must be considered for an IIM call.
Good luck.

If you're interested in mathematics then you can choose engineering after class 10th. You have near about two years of time to prepare for SAT. You will need to improve your English proficiency.

Hi Deep,
Process is simple. All you need is just your 10th score. What you have to do is have a look at whether there is any cap round going on in your state. If there is any cap process going on you should apply for the cap round to get good college. You can also apply directly using management quota in any Polytechnic college. While in management quota you have to pay heavy donations. Have a look for CAP round it will be beneficial for you. Regards.
