As other mentor has said, don't force Diploma on yourself, if you cannot continue it. Study class 12th from NIOS from Arts, Agriculture or language etc. That will be easy and also provide a means to pursue higher studies in the chosen field.

You can't take admission in D.Y.Patil College of Engineering directly in 2nd year, as you are not into Diploma. Only Diploma students are allowed for going directly into 2nd year through lateral entry.

If you want a UG degree in Animation then you must pass inter final (+2). In the last 20 years, several thousands of 10th passed students have studied animation course but they are all Diploma or certificate courses. Whether it is Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai or Hyderabad, no institute which offers a Diploma course is going to tell you that you are not eligible.
