Students are never advised nor encouraged to fail in their class 12th boards as it is crucial for future admissions and jobs. However, if You fail in class 12th boards, You will be required to repeat the whole class again. In most of the cases, 12th failures are restricted from schools. So, it is not advisable to intentionally fail your exams.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday submitted to the Supreme Court a 40:30:30 formula for evaluation of marks of Class XII students, which will be based on their Class XII Class XI and Class X results, respectively.
