Admission Requirements for Economics (Hons) for PCM BackgroundersDefinitely, Economics (Hons) admission is possible in case of a Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics background in the higher secondary. This is because most universities and colleges do not make admissions dependent on the high school stream. Most often, they consider the overall performance and entrance scores.Eligibility criteria: Most of the institutions prefer a minimum of some percentage in the 12th public examinations. Some institution may choose to consider other entrance exams or interviews. The university policies: Check the specific admission policy of the differe

You can sit for the IISER exam or the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) even if you passed your 12th grade seven years ago, as there is no age limit mentioned for IISER admissions. But the eligibility for the exam includes that you have to be an equal pass out with at least 60% marks (for the SC/ST/PwD candidates, the cut-off percentage is 55%). Your main qualification has to be in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics. At least three of these Science subjects should be studied by you in the 12th standard. Hence, provided you have met these academic requirements, it does not matter when you completed your schooling; you are eligible to a

This subject doesn't need to be studied during the 11th and 12th grade. Background economics is always a big bonus for insight regarding dynamic, financial management, economic principles, helping and creating favourable conditions of operation; still, this is not needed because entrepreneurship can be carried by almost everybody even out from the economics curriculum itself - most people who were very good at managing businesses learned in either sciences, art, commerce streams. What is important for entrepreneurship includes a good understanding of your chosen industry, creativity and problem-solving, and your ability to adapt to con

But yeah, a student of a 12th pass standard can get direct admission for a B.Tech programme without appearing to JEE exams as numerous universities or private colleges grant admissions as per the score gained on 12th or else through their individual entrance exam tests. For example, certain famous universities like BITS Pilani, VIT University and also SRM Institute of Science and Technology conduct exams themselves called BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE individually. The admission is varied, but mostly one requires a minimum percentage of 50-60% in 12th in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics depending on the institution and course.

12th marks are not taken into direct consideration for admissions into AFMC PG. The primary and foremost criterion of admission is in the NEET PG test followed by an interview and counseling process. However, your 12th marks get involved while deciding your eligibility to sit for the exam NEET PG as that would be the completion certificate of the undergraduate medical course (MBBS) under a recognised institute. While 12th marks do not directly affect the selection in AFMC PG, maintaining good academic performance throughout your MBBS is essential to secure a seat in AFMC and other reputed medical colleges.
