In general, the paper for regular applicants and private candidates sitting the CBSE board examinations for class 12th is the same. Private candidates, however, are often not registered in a normal school and may not have access to the same resources and assistance as regular candidates, therefore there may be some minor variations in the format or substance of the test. For precise information on the structure and subject matter of the test for private applicants, it is advised that you contact the CBSE or your local examination board.
