If you were absent for all five theory papers of your CBSE Class 12 exams, you typically have two options depending on your school's and CBSE's policies: 1. Appear for Compartment Exams (or Supplementary Exams): CBSE allows students who miss or fail in their board exams to appear for the supplementary exams conducted later in the year. You won't have to attend school again, but you must register for these exams, often through your school. Contact your school or check the CBSE website for the compartment exam application process.  2. Reappear Next Year: If you miss all exams and don't opt for supplementary exams, you may need to re-register for the Class 12 board exams next year. In such cases, some students may need to attend school again, depending on the school's policy. Others may register as private candidates and prepare independently.  What You Should Do: 1. Talk to Your School: Inform them about your situation and ask about your eligibility for the compartment exams.  2. Check the CBSE Guidelines: Visit the CBSE website or contact the regional CBSE office for clarity on your options.  3. Provide Medical Proof: If you were unwell, submit medical certificates to your school for leniency or special consideration.    

Your result for class 10 is expected in April, but it is mandatory to fill the form regarding Class XI study at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) before that. So follow the steps mentioned below: 1. Check JMI Guidelines for Class 11 admission Normally, JMI permits students to fill in applications for Class XI even if the result of class 10 is not declared yet.  Many universities, including JMI, provide an option to fill in the provisional marks or enter the awaited result for those whose results have not yet been declared. Follow the JMI admission guidelines for the specific how-to.  2. Filling up the Application Form Write 'awaiting result' or fail to fill up the field pertaining to the 10th marks (only in case the form allows you to do so).  Some forms allow you to proceed without entering final marks for the same reason, that is, result awaited or not declared yet.  3. Submission of the Application Then submit it according to the following pattern with other information required, such as personal data, contact information, previous school details, etc. In the marks part, you can indicate that your result is expected a little bit later.  4. Wait After Results Once your 10th result comes out (which would be by April), make sure you send the official marks or certification to JMI in the most urgent manner possible either online or offline, as per the requirement.  Keep an eye out for messages from JMI related to the submission deadline for the 10th result. 5. Keep Touching With Admission Office In case you are unable to figure out the procedure, you can contact the office personally and put forth your case. They will give specific instructions on how to proceed, in case of delay in the result of your 10th standard.  Thus, you can proceed to fill out the application form while your 10th result is awaited.
