The courses which you are referring to are certifications. CCNA, CCNP are certifications provided by Cisco. You need to prepare for the certification exam, apply for the exam and clear the exam in order to be CCNA, CCNP certified. There is no college for it as it is not a degree program. There are many regional institutes which provides training for such courses. Figure out a good institute near you and they will guide you ahead. All the best

Hi Dear,
CCNA CCNP and CCIE are certifications offered by CISCO. To get Cisco certified, you need to take courses from an Institute /Network professional or Self-study. CCNA is the first block to get into Cisco certification. Gradually you will be eligible for CCNP and CCIE. CCNA comes with ICND1 and ICND2 paper. Duration: approximately 30 Hours. Recommended skills: Basic understanding of computer functions (email, web browser, etc.). Certification is valid up to 3 years.

In my opinion, if you pass CCNA you have a good chance of becoming a field technician, say you have a good score in engineering degree and have none of these certifications, you can still end up as a programmer in good companies. These certifications are good to have, CCIE being one of the toughest and ranks higher in this ladder will even make you a designer for major networks that are the backbone of the internet. It is not necessary to acquire these certifications if you want to be a programmer (it is good to have them though). If you want to design a network, troubleshoot network, act as a consultant in a networking compan
