No, a CDS officer typically wouldn't become a General because a CDS officer is a distinguished officer from any of the three services who has already reached a high rank before being appointed to the CDS position and the CDS position has a fixed tenure, typically two years.

You are not qualified to qualify for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam in 2021 based on your birthdate of July 25, 1997. For the majority of entries, the age limit for CDS is often between 19 and 24 years old. You may have been qualified because you would have turned 24 in 2021; but, eligibility is also dependent on other variables like educational background and other entry requirements. Make careful to verify the most recent eligibility requirements and dates for CDS tests in the future.
