Yes. Candidate can join IAF post LASIK surgery but under the medical guidlines released by defence forces. Also LASIK surgery should not have been carried out before the age of 20 years. Candidate must have normal 6/6 vision and all the other eye sight criterias such myopia and hypermetropia should not be there. Candidate should have normal binocular vision. Candidates who habitually wear spectacles are not eligible.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the CDS 1 2024 admit card a week before the exam is conducted. The UPSC CDS 1 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 21, 2024. The candidates will be able to download their admit card through the candidates' login on the official website-upsc.gov.in.

Following the latest notice by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the conducting body for CDS examination. The examination form for CDS 1 was out on December 20, 2023 and will remain out till January 9, 2024. Followed by the examination on April 21 ,2024. CDS 2 examination will be conducted on September 1, 2024.To know more about CDS, refer to the official website.

The Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is conducted for the selection of candidates for admission to Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, Indian Naval Academy etc. Before applying to the exam, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of CDS. Post filling the application form, candidates are required to pay the application fee. For General and OBC male candidates, the fee is INR 200. Women, SC and ST candidates need not to pay any fee.
