The CEED exam is an entrance exam that is conducted in computer-based mode. It is conducted to evaluate candidates' aptitude in the field of design and has two parts, Part A consists of multiple-choice questions and numerical answer type questions measuring general awareness, visualisation, and logical thinking and Part B consist subjective questions requiring candidates to sketch or develop designs. IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon).The exam will includ two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A of the exam will be administered in a computer-based mode, whereas Part B will be held offline. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for Part A. If the candidate fails to qualify for Part A, his or her Part B answers booklet will not be evaluated. The final score cum merit list of CEED 2025 will be calculated by giving weightage to both Part A and Part B.

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for CEED 2025 exam on October 1, 2024. The admission portal for CEED 2025 has also been launched - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The portal contain the updates about the CEED 2025 exam. IIT Bombay has not given any dates for editing the CEED application form 2024. This means once the application form is submitted, the candidate won’t be able to edit it. So, when applying for CEED 2024, the candidate needs to bear the necessary caution.The application form for CEED 2024 is currently open. The last date to fill out the form with regular fee is October 31, 2023. However, with late fees, the candidate can apply from November 1-8, 2023.

The counseling process for CEED qualified candidates is conducted by the participating colleges soon after the results of the entrance exam are declared.Note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment for CEED 2024; interestingly, the institute conducts centralized counseling for UCEED 2024 (B.Des admission).So, the candidate has to apply directly to the participating institutes with their CEED 2024 scores. The application schedule for admission will be notified by the respective participating institutes on their admission portals. The candidate will have to apply within the given deadline.

IIT Bombay will declare the results of CEED 2025 on March 5, 2025. The result will be declared online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portals using their log-in id. Note that hard copies of the result will not be sent to the candidate.The CEED 2025 results will be released for all candidates who appear in the design entrance exam. However, the CEED 2025 merit rank will only be issued to candidates who qualify for Part A and are shortlisted.Also, you will be able to download the scorecards from March 10, 2025 (onward).

The final answers key for CEED 2025 for Part I will be released in the 1st week of February 2025. The final key is released after considering comments given by the candidate against the draft key. It therefore contains the official and correct answers to questions asked in the entrance exam. The candidate doesn’t have the option to challenge the final key.By consulting the final key, the candidate will be able to calculate probable scores. This score in turn can be used to access one's chances of admission.

The candidate will be given an option to challenge the draft key. The schedule will be notifed on the official website.Note that the objections have to be submitted through the candidate portal.The link to upload comment was activated on the official CEED 2025 admission portals - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To upload comment, you required to log in to the portals using your candidate log-in details.Note that the candidate had to follow the Master Question Paper for uploading comment. The draft answers key of CEED 2025 will be released around the 4th week of January 2025. The draft key will be released in the form of a downloadable pdf.The draft key can be downloaded online from the CEED 2025 admission portals - ceed.iitb.ac.in. No log-in is required to download the answers key. To download the answer key, simply click on the answers key download link and download the pdf.Objections against the draft key have to be submitted within the given deadline.

IIT Bombay will issue admit card for CEED 2025 on January 3, 2025 (1 pm). Admit cards will be issued to all candidates who successfully register for the exam. The candidate can download the admit card online at ceed.iitb.ac.in.To download the admit card, log in to the candidate portals using your login details.On the day of the exam, the candidate had to bring with them the admit card and a valid photo id proof. The admit card will contain details like the name, roll number, exam date, exam timings, and name and address of the exam center.
