CEETA

Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category) and 45% (for the reserved category) from a recognised university or institute are eligible for CEETA PG 2025 admissions. 

CEETA PG stands for Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate courses (CEETA PG), a two-hour state-level entrance examination conducted once a year. Read more about the CEETA PG exam pattern here-  https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/ceeta-exam-pattern

The marking scheme for the CEETA PG entrance test is as follows -Marks will not be deducted for the questions answered.   Part I: Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be reduced.   Part II: All the correct answers up to 20 will be awarded marks and all the wrong answers shall be considered for awarding negative marks. Multiple shading will be considered as a wrong answer and a 1/3 mark will be reduced.  Part III: Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and a 1/3 mark will be reduced. 

The CEETA PG examination is conducted once a year. The mode of the entrance examination is online. Candidates registered for the examination can appear for the CEETA PG entrance test.

The TANCET examination is conducted to offer admission to postgraduate business programs, such as MBA and computer application programs, such as MCA. Qualifying candidates can apply at participating institutions in Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, CEETA PG is a postgraduate entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to postgraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs, such as M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan.

The mode of the CEETA PG application form is online. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the details and submit the form before the deadline. The application process of CEETA PG consists of the registration process, followed by the uploading of documents and payment of application fees.

Candidates, after qualifying for CEETA PG, can get admission in the following universities and institutes -University Departments of Anna University, Chennai-25, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering. Annamalai University and Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges Technical Institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated with Anna UniversityCandidates can also apply to the self-financing engineering colleges

Anna University conducts the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA PG) on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Government. CEETA PG state-level entrance examination offers admission to postgraduate degrees, such as M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, and M.E.

The CEETA PG admission is expected to start in the fourth week of January 2025. The official notification will be released on January 19, 2025. The mode of the application form is online. The admission process of CEETA PG comprises applicant registration, entrance examination, declaration of results and counselling process.
