I am not aware about CEPT University, I can share my experience about Lovely Professional University At LPU you are eligible with Commerce stream, but you should have at least 60% with English. In Interior Designing, two types of courses are offered,
1)B.Sc. (Design - Interior and Furniture)
2) B. Design (Interior & Furniture)
There is slight distinctive about B. Design and B.Sc. Course for interior and furniture design. It is primarily differentiated on the basis of programme duration. B. Design programme is a 4 year programme whereas B.Sc. Is a 3 year programme, it depends on the student whether they have to pursue B. Design or B.Sc. In B. Design, the 4th year is mainly concentrating on the course work. Eligibility of both the course is 60% in Class 12th, (with English). There is no issue of Commerce or Science background. You can definitely go for it. I would suggest you to have a look over Lovely Professional University's B. Design programme. B. GNDU is one of the most reputed Architecture colleges in North India. With a strong alumni network and experienced faculty. Estbd in 1986 it is the Punjab states first architecture college. But SPA Delhi is not only in North India but Its India's top Architecture colleges. It also stands in Aisas top 10 Architecture college. Its level of undergraduate education is excellent and exceptional. Moreover it is the only Architecture College in india which stands in top 10 and there are no state reservations here. Other colleges like, CEPT, J. J College, CCA and other Top colleges have huge state reservations. So there is no match of SPA Delhi anywhere in India. Its not very easy to get in even.
