The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) is a corporate officer, primarily responsible for managing the financial risks of the corporation. The officer is also responsible for financial planning and record-keeping, as well as financial reporting to higher management.
The majority of CFOs will understandably have an educational background in finance, business, economics or management. A typical path would be a Bachelors and Masters degree in accounting or other finance-related studies, alongside the ACCA qualification.

CA and FRM certification are two different domains. CA is all about accounting and taxation whereas FRM is all about Enterprise risk management specifically involved in analysing, controlling, or assessing potential credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk as well as non-market related financial risks faced by a firm and how to hedge or mitigate those risks.
CA is a widely recognised designation in India whereas FRM is slowly gaining momentum. CA could certainly help you in getting a good entry level job in an accounting or taxation firm but FRM may or may not. Employers usually favour people with an econometrics or financial enginee

Completing B.Com with IPCC group 1 would not completely fill in the conceptual knowledge required for financial & investment analysis, portfolio management, etc. It will certainly give you the knowledge required in accounting & auditing.

If you are looking for career into financial stream, you can go for CFP course as well as MS Excel advanced course, which are highly helpful. You can go for SAP FICO certificate from SAP institution.

Hi,
After CA, there isn't any sense in pursuing MBA as it won't add any additional value to your current qualification but if you make it to CFA then life will be something else. CFA is values worldwide. Average salary after CFA is more than 30 lakhs a year which isn't easy in case of MBA.

CFA is a certificate programme, so you can register early, start studying and give exams accordingly. For international business, you need to pursue MBA from a reputed B-school. You may consider IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS and IIFT-Delhi for the same.

You are eligible, if you have completed your graduation. Experience is not required for the exam, but it is mandatory (3 years) for charter certification. ICICI direct center for financial learning is providing good training with help of experts at its 20 centers across India.
