Very good option if you are serious. We do not have many who blindly choose cfa as compared to those who choose CA, cs so that gives serious students an advantage. Finance sector needs people who are not MBA finance, but different

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program is a professional credential offered internationally by the American-based CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management and Research, or AIMR) to investment and financial professionals. A candidate who successfully completes the program and meets other professional requirements is awarded the "CFA charter" and becomes a "CFA charterholder". Both the courses are good & have great career opportunities. MBA is a generalist course and career options are more vide. CFA is a specialist course & has it own demand in the financial /capital market space.
Doing MBA is far easier that CFA. Please evaluate your interest areas & then take a call

You may pursue your CFA from India as every country has the centres approved by CFA society. Check edupristine as they have both classroom and oniline mode. If you are keen for Singapore, you may apply to lsbf or any other college. Visit this website to know more details.
