CG PET

CG PET 2023 counselling dates have been announced. The detailed counselling schedule is now available on the official website at cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in. Qualified candidates can now register for the spot round of CG PET 2023 counselling until September 11. Three rounds of counselling is being held, including a spot round. Fresh registrations and choice filling will be accepted for every round of counselling. Only those candidates who finish the counselling process and meet the requirements will be eligible for admissions into the participating institutes.

The authorities have released the CG PET 2023 cutoff marks for the first and second rounds. The minimum scores required for higher chances of admission i.e., the CG PET cutoff differs each year as per the factors related to the entrance examination. Separate cutoffs are released for CG PET and JEE Main qualified candidates. It is to be noted that the CG PET 2023 cutoff will differ round-wise and as per the category, course and college selected.

Candidates belonging to the General category must have minimum aggregate marks of 45% to apply for CG PET 2023 admission while the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Female) have to secure 40% in Class 12 or equivalent. The detailed CG PET 2023 reservation criteria will be announced soon after the counselling process commences. 

The official CG PET eligibility criteria is prepared and released by the authorities of CPEB. According to the eligibility criteria, all candidates need to meet the upper age limit to be eligible for admissions through CG PET. The upper age limit for CG PET is 30 years as on July 1st of the admission year. For the reserved category candidates, the authorities provide a relaxation of 3 years. Yes. CG PET authorities will also offer admission to various courses through JEE Main. They can directly participate in the counselling process. Allotment will be based on the candidate's obtained JEE Main scores, preferences and seat availability.

No. Candidates belonging to the Chhattisgarh state will only be able to apply for CG PET 2023. During admissions, the authorities will check the domicile eligibility of the candidates.

CG PET 2023 exam date has been released online. The authorities conducted the CG PET 2023 on June 25 from 9 AM to 12:15 PM. The exam was held as an offline test. During the examination, the candidates had to attempt multiple-choice questions of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There were no multiple examination dates and slots. All candidates had to attempt the examination on the same date. The authorities did not accept requests for change of exam dates and addition of new examination dates.
